Most independent studies are shut down or their authors are blacklisted/gagged. Seralini's group published and then the biotech's got an insider onto the editorial board of that journal and the paper was retracted. The science is sound - see the hundreds of letters of support on Seralini's site (written by doctors).
Re above comment, what to do is easy: Zero processed foods period! Buy organic (& biodynamic) everything, including meat - free range & grass fed only. No packets, no tins, no synthetic chemicals, just real food. Not only will you feel fantastic, you'll also prevent Alzheimers disease and toxic overload induced chronic inflammation/diseases. I speak from lived experience. Use a ketogenic diet as your baseline, Paleo diet is a form of ketogenic diet (see paper referenced below for the science). Your brain needs healthy fats and oils (animal fats such as butter, ghee and cold pressed olive oil, coconut oil and fish oils (wild atlantic salmon - see "Salmon Confidential" on Top Documentaries - and supplements such as Primal Force (Dr Al Sears) and Brain & Body Power Max (Dr Amen at www.amenclinics.com). EVERYONE today is toxic, it's environmental, so we all need extra raw materials for our bodies to detox constantly and operate efficiently - we cannot do this without supplements since our food supply is so debased of nutrient. Also, consumed sugar is toxic, especially to the brain (small amounts required by the body are produced in the liver). The body requires 91 nutrients. 60 of these are minerals. We get these from the food we consume but only if the minerals and nutrients are in the soil (and air). NPK, the standard synthetic mix for agrifarming is 3. Think about it. The standard american diet, likewise in most developed countries and increasingly in developing ones, is a fantastic repeat business model for the medical-pharmaceutical industrial complex.
